Reclaim the Night: Shifting Architectural Paradigms is a project, which mission is to challenge the way of thinking in architecture and urban design with themes of liberation, inclusivity, and empowerment. Grounded in the idea of reclaiming public spaces for all genders, it confronts historical barriers and dismantles the structures that uphold exclusionary practice.

Aalborg City in Denmark serves as the site of research, and through the approach of feminist methodology in design and embracing intersectional perspectives, the project advocates for cities that reflect the lived experiences of women and marginalized communities. It highlights the importance of safety, particularly in nighttime environments, with a strong belief that everyone has the right to move freely without fear at any time of the day, and that public spaces belong to everyone. It empowers people of all backgrounds to engage in activism and demand spaces that cater to their needs and wishes.

Culminating in the design of The Travelling Pavilion: Voices of Us, Reclaim the Night: Shifting Architectural Paradigms challenges architectural norms, advocates for safe, inclusive spaces, and empower marginalized communities in its mission of creating public environments that belongs to everyone.
